Kylee, you have produced some of the most thoughtful, complex character work ever. The depth you've put into Claudius, the rich textural deep dives, the way you've fleshed out this guy through different productions and different reads -- he's capable of being scary and sneaky and tender and vulnerable, he's our wine auntie and he's drinking his best friend's blood and he's talking cute boys with Shen Yuan and he's coming out of the murder closet, but he's also a melancholy prince who thinks more than he acts and loves to talk and makes some really bad choices. And he plays Friend Detective, which is very exciting for me in terms of representation!

Basically there's nothing more exciting than getting a monologue in the old inbox, and I think I speak for everyone.

Kylee. Holy crap, where to even begin? I cannot think of a better puppet to have kicked off the experience that this comm has been. The love and thoughtfulness that you have put into Claudius from day one set a standard that has elevated each and every single one of us. Just on a personal note, the absolutely distinct relationships each of my puppets has had with him have been a joy (so honored to have been able to kick off his feral boy fall!) and that goes for every single other character he's interacted with as well. Absolutely stunning. Every word.

you're a genius obviously. ♥ claudius feels so absolutely real and there's no better dopamine hit than getting a tag from him. developing his friendship with lwj has been one of the best and most fun and rewarding things about df2 for me -- they bring out such interesting things in each other and i am always eagerly anticipating the next time they hang out. please never stop dropping kylee's shakespeare analysis hour at us, it's a wonder and a delight every single time without fail.

kylee!!! i think that i have never in my life had as many thoughts about shakespeare as you have in any given day and every time you share those thoughts, i am like, damn, maybe i really should be thinking more about shakespeare, actually? claudius... the real main character of hamlet and probably also the whole universe? strange but true.

Had to save this icon for you! Where would Crowley be without you and Claudius?? Honestly DF is the best Aziraphale/Crowley fanfiction out there because it's the only one with Claudius J. kylee, i'm so impressed by the care and thoughtfulness and balls-out fun you bring to claudius. the context and compliations and thoughts you share in the server about shakespeare in general and claudius in particular feel like i'm back in my shakespeare class in college except this time i WANT to do the reading and engage with the text in a million different ways. he feels really three-dimensional and lived-in!

i mean this the most complimentary way anyone could ever mean it but tagging in threads with claudius when he's angry with your puppet is the most stressful a fictional situation could possibly be. he's so whip-smart and unhinged in such a particular way, it feels like i am on an old-timey telephone to billy shakespeare and he's insulting my blorbo's soul. i'm so happy he and gideon have (so far) a much less complicated relationship than he and shen yuan so i can also play with silly shenanigans claudius also!!

omggg thank you so much for doing all the plots with me that we've done! I really appreciate how continually game you are to throw our characters at each other against their wills, and it's always a thrill for me when it happens because I know it's going to be a juicy and well-written thread. Claudius is so fleshed out, I think we all feel like he is a real person that we know. And in my case, a real person I only get to talk to once a month because he doesn't get along with my other friends. But it's always a special treat. (As a side note, Claudius greeting Mothwing sticks in my mind as an especially charming moment.)
