okay, so real talk! when you invited me to df, i was pretty seriously struggling with maintaining adult friendships and feeling a sense of community ... you know, like a lot of thirty-something millennials with pandemic stress and adhd during a time where a major social media platform was exploding and splintering in a dozen tinier platforms. but then you came along and asked me to play with you and your friends, like the bravest kid on the playground. i'm so grateful you did. it's really restored my feeling of community, in a space with so much shared joy and creativity and support for each other's passions. and you made that space possible.

also, completely unexpectedly, we got to collaborate on one of the truest examples of modern friendship: anthony janthony crowley and claudius joy fromhamlet. so proud of us. thank you for everything~
