I love your ability to plan really intricate stuff -- I'm always blown away by the level of your plotting and keeping things going behind the scenes and the way you carefully lay groundwork.

I also (I feel like I'll end up saying this a lot but whatever lol) find all three of your character voices so distinct and carefully chosen. With everyone on DF I sometimes forget who is playing who because the characters are so individual that there's not really any kind of tell or typist pattern bleeding through to the character. Crowley is such a goofy little dork compared to Nina's cheer over great sadness and Aornis' creepy machinations.

Every single one of your characters is compelling and beautifully drawn, and I especially love how different it feels to interact with each of them even when there's a voice to your prose that's distinctly Yours. You have the patience and commitment to play long games with characterization and relationship development, and I deeply admire that. dils!!! there is no way to quantify the amount of joy you have brought into my life honestly. on every level, you are always bringing me joy. the last few months have been rather incredibly miserable for me except that always in the background is the bright spot of df, which you have returned to us in marvelous fashion. crowley... who can say enough words about crowley? not i. nina is a gem, a jewel, an angel. and aornis... your finest work yet? but i beleive your work will only grow finer.

From bringing DF back to moderating to all of the creative plotty stuff, I am in awe. It's not easy wrangling these things and you've done it so well. And if all that weren't amazing enough, you play Crowley, Nina and Aornis so well. I love them all (even scary Aornis) and you do such a lovely job with them.

dili!! i'm in constant awe of the carefully intricate way you structure soooo many moving pieces, whether it's Official Plots, unofficial plots (aornis), or enrichment in the typists' enclosures. i love how strikingly different all of your guys are, and yet how equally fun they are. i know this is a refrain from and for pretty much everyone here, but they're soooo distinct in such compelling ways. thank you for fostering such a fun and welcoming space to play!

dili it's been so fun getting to know you! thank you so much for welcoming me into this rp and making it such an easy, beautiful experience - I know probably expanding beyond the original df folks was nerve-wracking but you steer us all with such grace and consideration. plus, your characters are so foundational to what makes df df—where would we be without the best a/c slowburn of all time, without crowley popping up in every event thread, without nina's social butterflying and joy, without aornis' ABSOLUTE MENACE?? you're a delight to play with and delight to know.

okay, so real talk! when you invited me to df, i was pretty seriously struggling with maintaining adult friendships and feeling a sense of community ... you know, like a lot of thirty-something millennials with pandemic stress and adhd during a time where a major social media platform was exploding and splintering in a dozen tinier platforms. but then you came along and asked me to play with you and your friends, like the bravest kid on the playground. i'm so grateful you did. it's really restored my feeling of community, in a space with so much shared joy and creativity and support for each other's passions. and you made that space possible.

also, completely unexpectedly, we got to collaborate on one of the truest examples of modern friendship: anthony janthony crowley and claudius joy fromhamlet. so proud of us. thank you for everything~

I LOOOVE your takes on all three characters. Crowley is always so funny and lovable, the perfect pathetic comic relief (which isn't to say you don't also do great work when it's time for his serious emotions!). Nina is so lovable, and it's surprised me how delightfully compatible she and Binghe are—it's easy for Binghe to like any woman who's kind to him (like Tress), but the way he and Nina understand each other's dark sides feels like a natural pretext for a friendship. And of course Aornis is so scary. It's hard to write a character who schemes (ask me how I know), so your work with her has been really impressive! Also, you always do such a good job executing our chaotic ideas for open posts.
