Okay, like I said to Penny above, you are a comic genius. It is amazing to me how funny your writing is. Like truly transcendent.

You've mentioned before that it can be tough to play Kade and Magnus because there's the potential for overlap in their character voices but I have to say I've never felt that. You can really feel Kade's maturity and the peace he's at with himself in contrast to Magnus being younger and more impulsive and goofy, while still having so much frustration about the limitations of his fate. And Susan is SUCH a compelling character, the choices you've made about picking her up post-book have really paid off. You are just so good at developing themes from the source text and creating characters who are obviously and recognizably their book selves while also exploring new aspects of who they become after they sit with the events of their canon for several years or decades.

I have definitely thought about how I wasn't sure I would super connect with Magnus initially because of his Very YA Source Text but pretty much right out of the gate he became a character that I cared about so much and would absolutely die for lol. I really can't say enough about your ability to make this happen.

Guin! Secunit is like just so fascinating and it's truly been amazing getting to watch it have to navigate this place when it comes from such a different canon from anyone else, and it makes adjustment that much more difficult, and you are pulling it off SO well!

Sarah! War criminal bro! In all seriousness, as someone who was unfamiliar with the Canon, getting to know Aleks through how you play him has been amazing. It's such a nuanced portrayal and watching his journey unfold has been such a delight.

Penny omg the way you play your characters! You have a gift of making illogical moments (which you get to indulge in frequently, Shen Yuan, make perfect logical sense in their foundation! Gideon also just immediately leapt fully-realized into the comm with gusto and the way you keep them both just so spot on with who they should be is amazing!

Omg Gil. I know I've said this a bunch of times but your way of writing, like your language choices and turns of phrase, are just so engrossing -- you have this amazing ability to make prose surprising and fresh and I love reading everything you write. As I've said several times already here, you're one of those people who has a bunch of characters who are all super distinct and well-developed with their own clear voices, and they're all so easy to get invested in and care about. But of course Laertes is the best boy.

I also appreciate so much the level of trust we have for writing sex scenes; it's so fun to get creative and explore the emotions and motivations behind our guys and what is going on with them in bed. I find sex scenes interesting for character development but sometimes I can also find writing them repetitious and I worry that they're just boring and salacious -- with you I feel like we're always learning something and it makes the whole process so exciting.

You're just someone who is constantly surprising me with your writing and I love getting to bounce off of you. Thank you for being here!!!

Kidding aside, you were very careful with your initial character choices and it shows! They’re all characters you find fascinating and interesting and in turn, we now feel the same. You’re careful with their IC choices and keep them so separate. Also, you bring the cheerleading and the emojis to the discord chat!

Jess! The degree to which your Lancelot stuns me on a daily basis is super high! You have clearly put so much thought into his character and I adore seeing everything he's gotten up to here, and how true to him you're staying!

Kylee, you have produced some of the most thoughtful, complex character work ever. The depth you've put into Claudius, the rich textural deep dives, the way you've fleshed out this guy through different productions and different reads -- he's capable of being scary and sneaky and tender and vulnerable, he's our wine auntie and he's drinking his best friend's blood and he's talking cute boys with Shen Yuan and he's coming out of the murder closet, but he's also a melancholy prince who thinks more than he acts and loves to talk and makes some really bad choices. And he plays Friend Detective, which is very exciting for me in terms of representation!

Basically there's nothing more exciting than getting a monologue in the old inbox, and I think I speak for everyone.

Gil! I love all three of your characters so much it hurts! They're all so different that it boggles the mind that they reside in one brain and it boggles the mind even more that you keep them all so consistently themselves. I've absolutely adored every interaction any of my puppets has had with yours and I always look forward to the next ones.

erin you are such a gem, it boggles the mind. you're always so kind and funny and indulgent of my nonsense and you have been for NEARLY TWENTY YEARS?! it's absurd. your characters are so vivid and fun to play with, i regret only that we don't thread together more often. you're an unending delight genuinely.

Kylee. Holy crap, where to even begin? I cannot think of a better puppet to have kicked off the experience that this comm has been. The love and thoughtfulness that you have put into Claudius from day one set a standard that has elevated each and every single one of us. Just on a personal note, the absolutely distinct relationships each of my puppets has had with him have been a joy (so honored to have been able to kick off his feral boy fall!) and that goes for every single other character he's interacted with as well. Absolutely stunning. Every word.

JK IT'S TOO LATE. jules has already commented on this issue but it's hard not to say the same thing for everyone about how amazingly distinct and vivid your characters all are! it is such a joy to play with them, you're brilliant. i had barely even heard of magnus and now i would literally dismember someone for him (okay that might not be ENTIRELY my sentiment there). thank you for always enabling me and hyping me up and being willing to have 70 simultaneous threads with me!

I love how Nightingale is the kind of character where you've really made his presence felt even when he's not involved in every single thread; he's made so many connections and gotten so involved in the community by being, frankly, an adult-shaped adult. Somebody in the ic chat early on said the way he drifts in and out narratively is so appropriate for his character and I think about that a lot when he shows up. I just really love the way you play him!!
