So I've only seen the TV show and read the crows duology and I am loving getting to learn more about Aleks and his whole backstory through your writing. He's such a compelling character and the nuance you bring to him makes him so appealing -- I totally grasp his motivations and understand why he made the choices he did, which I think is so much more interesting for an antagonist! Also, he needs a hug. As do you -- i really hope we get to hang out in person some day!!

Sarah! War criminal bro! In all seriousness, as someone who was unfamiliar with the Canon, getting to know Aleks through how you play him has been amazing. It's such a nuanced portrayal and watching his journey unfold has been such a delight.

i actually can't ever express how much i love you. time, distance, whatever, you're for real part of my forever family. aleks is such a nuanced read on a kind of heinous person and i love that??? i love him. and you. mostly you. sorry to him but i love only your portrayal of him which is simply reflected glory or whatever.

So I didn't normally enjoy Bad Guys but They Had a Good Reason ... and you have made me adore Aleks anyway. You've really made me see what's compelling about the trope, with the deft way you weave Aleks's upbringing with the bad choices he was offered with the temptations of power. I get it now!!! This is a good trope actually!!! Thank you so much for showing us all of the sides of Aleks--I'm so excited to see where he'll go next.
