Okay, like I said to Penny above, you are a comic genius. It is amazing to me how funny your writing is. Like truly transcendent.

You've mentioned before that it can be tough to play Kade and Magnus because there's the potential for overlap in their character voices but I have to say I've never felt that. You can really feel Kade's maturity and the peace he's at with himself in contrast to Magnus being younger and more impulsive and goofy, while still having so much frustration about the limitations of his fate. And Susan is SUCH a compelling character, the choices you've made about picking her up post-book have really paid off. You are just so good at developing themes from the source text and creating characters who are obviously and recognizably their book selves while also exploring new aspects of who they become after they sit with the events of their canon for several years or decades.

I have definitely thought about how I wasn't sure I would super connect with Magnus initially because of his Very YA Source Text but pretty much right out of the gate he became a character that I cared about so much and would absolutely die for lol. I really can't say enough about your ability to make this happen.

s!!!! Truly, the way you play each of your characters is so deliberate. The choices you make for them make sense for each of their particular characters and their voices are all so distinct that it makes me marvel that one person is playing all three of them!

hmmm aren't you filled up with peri compliments already?! JK IT'S TOO LATE. jules has already commented on this issue but it's hard not to say the same thing for everyone about how amazingly distinct and vivid your characters all are! it is such a joy to play with them, you're brilliant. i had barely even heard of magnus and now i would literally dismember someone for him (okay that might not be ENTIRELY my sentiment there). thank you for always enabling me and hyping me up and being willing to have 70 simultaneous threads with me!

Honestly I feel like I always have the most cognitive dissonance with Magnus and Susan (specifically) where I'm like "they're the same typist???" at least once a week and that's down to how consistently you write them and how in character they are. I love how much excitement you have and how you're basically up for whatever plot/thread/etc other people have in mind!!

s!!! can't believe your range, honestly. you've brought people from three of like idk my top fifteen(?) series of all time and the characters you've chosen are all so different. susan especially is one of my all-time faves and i would never have thought to breathe life into her specifically in the way that you have, something i am constantly delighted by for real. cannot wait to bring magnus his alex and get to play more with you.

High five! I will admit that I am still a bit perplexed as to Magnus' thoughts on Enjolras' prior thoughts on me, but I will certainly not press the issue, as he is a delight. I have nothing but good things to say about Susan, in addition.

The sheer amount of background work you put into all three of your characters is absolutely incredible! Other people have said that it's hard to believe you're writing all three of them because they're so different from each other, but the major commonality between them is how much they're a product of their worlds and social circles. I don't just feel like I know Magnus, Susan, and Kade; I feel like I'm getting to know everyone from their stories. All those glancing bits of characterization are every bit as compelling as your actual characters, and that's an astounding accomplishment. <3333

s!!! i'm so happy we're pals and so happy you're here. all of your characters are so real and realized but i also love how much that doesn't prevent you from veering into rule of funny whenever the mood strikes—especially because you're SO funny. i'm so compelled by all of your characters, even though i don't know two thirds of them—magnus is so important to me now and I'm adoring getting to know kade. i'm obsessed with your take on susan, because i think with her you have a kind of unique challenge—transposing a deeply underwritten character into a space where many of her defining characteristics (her grief, her analytical mind) are extensions of her canon but not actually focused on within it. i just find it so impressive.

Your character writing is exquisite, your ideas are SO funny and your energy is infectious! With all of your characters, you've been able to imagine rich lives for them beyond the source material, making their arcs your own. I especially loved working on the Susan and Lucy piece with you!

I have SO enjoyed getting to know you and your puppets! I love the diversity of relationships that we've been able to pick through and explore, and as I've said about six million times, I am so enamored of Susan and Lancelot's relationship. ;__; They continually surprise me, but I'm glad for them in that I think they are actually really good for one another. <3 The depth and thoughtfulness of your characterizations is so good. Just a joy all around. :)
