One of the things I love about df is that there are so many characters from sources that I personally haven't read and yet I care so much about them from the way people play them and I'm so invested in the stories within the comm, and that's super how I feel about Mothwing and Tally. It took like nooo time for me to become so into them and so interested in the way they fit into the community and the relationships they've formed and wanting to know what will happen to them. You just sucked me in so quickly! I love that and I love that you made me care about them!

Relatedly, sagramore needs to hang out with Tally and increase his Worry Quotient.

genuinely mothwing is the greatest thing to happen to me and also this game. and tally is just so??? even as limited as my time has been lately, i'm kind of obsessed with her? you have brought just so many fun and different angles to the mansion and i'm so thankful for that!

Oh man Alix! Can you get much more different than Mothwing and Tally? And still the way you play both of them makes them so real to me and I'm truly invested in their well-beings! It's been amazing to watch!

I love both Mothwing and Tally and have been super enjoying our Swapmas shenanigans and epic four person threads!! The depth of your knowledge of both their canons is impressive and I can't wait to thread more in the future!

I love that one of our little pantheon is someone who would think to bring in a cat. It is a bit of whimsy that heartens me to know exists here.

Alix, I do adore Mothwing and Tally so much. They are both so sweet in different ways and while I know it would be Frowned on, I just want to hug Mothwing and tell her she is the Best. Which isn't to say I don't want to hug Tally because I do - watching her grapple with things has been so compelling (and Gideon/Tally FOREVER).

alix! you're SO fun to play with. i love the life and dimensionality you breathe into your characters, and how studied and real they both feel. you're really making me relive my love for the uglies series daily, and i'm truly obsessed with tally and all of her choices (the choices you're giving her!). and mothwing is an utter delight. oh to be an agéd lesbian cat disillusioned with the world... i want to be her when i grow up.

First of all, I think you're such a funny and interesting person, and I love hearing your ideas (and you're also a very kind and caring friend!). I find both of your characters so likable! I love Mothwing's practical no-nonsense old lady vibes, and it's impossible not to root for Tally. You've done a great job with two very different personalities.
