Laney! It’s been so great roleplaying with you and I absolutely love the Nina-Binghe BFF arc that we have going. It’s so adorable and is one of my favorite (unexpected!) things to come out of DF. Also, on the flip side, Aornis vs Binghe has also been a blast. I love your dedication to all the different writing, speaking, and character styles you have going on and how you thrive at all of them. It’s been a blast and I can’t wait for some of the stuff coming up!

Laney you are my very oldest friend here which is kind of wild to think about!! I've always known you were brilliant but it's been a long time since we were in the same fandoms so I hadn't appreciated all the ways in which you've become such an incredible writer (lbr, we've both come a long way from writing fushigi yuugi fanfic). I'm almost sad that Twitter is gone because I could be going back and reading all your incredible Bingqiu tweets with actual context!

I love how you're exploring this incredibly flawed man and why he is the way he is in all of his terrible thinking patterns, and I care so much about him and want him to be happy and BETTER ADJUSTED, JFC. And I love how different Qi Yan and Georgia are from Binghe, too, just as before the wildly differing personalities that you can do are amazing. You're just so good at inhabiting each character. I'm so happy/excited that we're doing a writing project together after all these years and I'm so glad you reached out to me about DF.

laney!!! our paths have crossed in a lot of different ways with increasing frequency over the past year or two and i'm thrilled they're finally aligned! reading every one of your tags feels like immersing myself in source material all over again (or for the first time, character-depending). you clearly put so much thought and care and energy into each interaction, and they're all so simultaneously fun and richly developed. it really feels like a masterclass in phrasing every time!
