Mandizzle! What a history we've had, from being co-mods at DF1 and getting back together for this. I love both Temeraire and Annie but your writing really shines with Enjolras. I know you've said that your "type" is flirts and Enjolras is ...well, not quite that - but I admire your dedication to the canon/character and the care you take with writing him. <3

So I didn't normally enjoy Bad Guys but They Had a Good Reason ... and you have made me adore Aleks anyway. You've really made me see what's compelling about the trope, with the deft way you weave Aleks's upbringing with the bad choices he was offered with the temptations of power. I get it now!!! This is a good trope actually!!! Thank you so much for showing us all of the sides of Aleks--I'm so excited to see where he'll go next.

From bringing DF back to moderating to all of the creative plotty stuff, I am in awe. It's not easy wrangling these things and you've done it so well. And if all that weren't amazing enough, you play Crowley, Nina and Aornis so well. I love them all (even scary Aornis) and you do such a lovely job with them.

But yes - LWJ, Janet and Zira are all so different and you play them so very well and true to their canons. They and you are a delight!

OMG, Penny, I don't even know where to start! SY is a delight and Gideon is perfect, so perfect. They are both such different people but you manage them so well. I love them so much and I love playing Aleks off them so much too.

Your characterizations are spot on, your puns are amazing and I have to say I think of you everytime I see/read anything about the Cubs.

You convey your characters' internal logic so clearly, even when that logic is on the face of it absolutely bonkers. But you never succumb to the temptation to make either of your characters (and especially Shen Yuan) a joke--they've got veins of deep feeling running through them, tragedies and griefs and overwhelming loves, and it's impossible not to be compelled by the stories you tell about them. I especially love those moments of Shen Yuan's cleverness (THE MESSAGE IN THE SNACK DUST) and Gideon's compassion, the way you set them up for interesting interactions with other characters. You're really good at this game, and I hope you know it. <3333

dili!! i'm in constant awe of the carefully intricate way you structure soooo many moving pieces, whether it's Official Plots, unofficial plots (aornis), or enrichment in the typists' enclosures. i love how strikingly different all of your guys are, and yet how equally fun they are. i know this is a refrain from and for pretty much everyone here, but they're soooo distinct in such compelling ways. thank you for fostering such a fun and welcoming space to play!
